Nestled on the beautiful Little Corn Island in Nicaragua, Yemaya is a stunning destination that captures the essence of paradise. Recently, I had the privilege of working on a project with Yemaya, capturing the preparation for the Cornucopia event by the renowned Chef Adrian Forte. Here's a recap of my experience:
I was tasked with capturing the preparation for the Cornucopia event, which was no small feat. Chef Adrian Forte and his team Chef Bayardo Martinez and Chef Dennis Prescott were hard at work creating an exquisite menu featuring the freshest local ingredients, while the hotel staff were putting the final touches on the setup and decor. It was a busy and exciting time, with a palpable energy in the air as everyone worked to create the perfect atmosphere for the event.
In addition to capturing the preparation for the Cornucopia event, I spent two days undertaking commercial photography of the hotel's amenities and facilities. From the stunning views of the Caribbean Sea to the beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites, the hotel exudes a sense of tranquility and luxury. The spa, the restaurant, and the infinity pool all provided excellent subjects for my camera, and I was able to capture the hotel's unique features and amenities in a way that truly does them justice.
Working with Yemaya was a true pleasure. The staff were all incredibly warm and welcoming, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel was impressive. I was struck by the beauty of the island, with its pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters, and I felt inspired by the sense of tranquility and serenity that pervades the entire property.
Overall, my experience working with Yemaya was one that I will never forget. The hotel is a true gem, and I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to capture its magic through my photography.
